Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team at KL Education and are working with a highly rated school district in the Lexington/Columbia area of SC. We have multiple openings at different grade levels that we are looking to fill as soon as possible so if you're interested in speaking with district, see options below:

Caseloads:

• Position 1: 4K high school support/special education self-contained
• Position 2: Moderate Elementary special education, self-contained
• Position 3: Middle School Resource
• Position 4: High School Moderate special education, self-contained.
• Position 5: High School Resource

Requirements

• Active SC Special Education License Required (or ability to obtain emergency license)
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting.
• Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong understanding of the IEP process

Contract

• This position is a 10-99 contract, but we can offer brokered benefits (health, dental, vision) in addition to pay (if needed by candidate or candidate's family)
• We are offering $50-58/hour based on candidate experience
