Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, refine, validate, and manage project plans and sprints to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of enterprise technology initiatives, including managing hours and dollars.
• Provide financial project oversight to develop budgets, controls, and measurements to monitor project progress.
• Identify project costs, resource allocations, schedule changes, and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver strong group presentations.
• Build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with IT staff, business personnel, vendors, consultants, and executives.
• Provide timely, concise communications regarding project status and issues to business and technical leadership; analyze processes to optimize resources and product delivery.
• Build consensus among multiple leads on project scope, staffing, task execution, and issue resolution.
• Direct and coach Agile processes and ceremonies such as sprints, stand-ups, PI planning, retrospectives.
• Utilize Azure DevOps Boards for managing Scrum and Kanban teams including dashboards and reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to complete assigned projects using project management methods.
• Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and proactively address issues; familiarity with RAID logs and continuous follow-up required.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Travel infrequently (once or twice annually for site meetings).
• Facilitate PI Planning events using Mural Boards.
• Manage multiple Scrum and Kanban teams concurrently with Azure DevOps Boards.

Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certification required.
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience including managing Waterfall projects.
• 5+ years managing IT projects.
• Experience in application development and software package implementation/roll-out as Scrum Master.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps Boards (Scrum and Kanban environments).
• Experience facilitating PI Planning events with Mural Boards.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel functions (pivots, lookups, charts).
• Financial tracking expertise (actuals and ETCs against project baselines).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to include role and project purpose in resume (e.g., managed application development for customer billing system).

Education/Experience:

• Experience in Data and Analytics project management and platform architecture strategy.
• Familiarity with CA PPM Clarity for project management and ServiceNow.
• Experience with Confluence and Microsoft Teams for documentation and project communication.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks including User-Centered Design, Lean Six Sigma, and DevOps.
• Understanding of Master Data Management, Jira, Azure DevOps Boards, and project financial management.
