John Carter Inc. with FedEx Ground has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for delivery drivers in Lebanon, OH. Our delivery drivers will be operating by delivering to local residents and businesses. You will be operating out of the  FedEx terminal at 325 Homan Road, Lebanon, OH 45036 . We are looking for  motivated and  dependable individuals to work as part of a team! We are now accepting applications for  full-time delivery drivers!

Pay: $160-$170 per day (final pay rate is based on experience)

Potential pay increase:

• New hires who are available to work on  Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays will be eligible to receive a  pay increase after 30 days of employment. Starting pay rate is at $160-$170 per day, and will be bumped up to $180 per day based on performance.
• Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon days off are available, but  preferred days off are Tue/Wed or Wed/Thur.

Per stop incentive: We provide $1 bonus for every stop done over 130 stops per day!

Schedule: FULL TIME [5 days per week] Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday

Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself
• Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
• Scanning and logging packages

Requirements:

• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
• Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 100 lbs
• Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
• Weekend availability is required. Must be able to work at least 1 day out of the weekend (Sat or Sun)
• Must have an experience driving an 18' box truck

No CDL required! Company vehicle provided! Candidates with previous experience are a good fit for this position! Military veterans are welcome!
