Accepting Applicants for Proposal Submission

Compass Government Solutions is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support the Intrepid Spirit Centers – Anomalous Health Incidents program at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This opportunity is part of a proposal effort . We are currently accepting applications from experienced candidates to be considered if the contract is awarded.

Schedule/Hours:

• Hours of operation: 0600 – 1800
• Typical clinical hours: 0700 – 1600
• 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday
• Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours

Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to diverse patient populations, including those with complex psychosocial, neurological, psychiatric, or medical conditions.
• Conduct psychosocial evaluations and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans, focusing on high-risk individuals (e.g., severe psychiatric illness, substance abuse, brain injury, abuse/neglect, financial exploitation, impaired self-care).
• Deliver brief strategic and crisis counseling for patients and families in acute psychiatric distress.
• Provide individual, group, family therapy, and aftercare planning, tailored to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities appropriate to age and clinical presentation.
• Develop and implement discharge plans ensuring safe and effective care transitions.
• Educate and provide orientation to patients, families, stakeholders, and medical staff on psychosocial impacts, discharge resources, and community treatment options.
• Deliver in-service training for multidisciplinary treatment teams and provide clinical oversight for psychiatry, psychology, and social work trainees as directed.
• Maintain competency in MHS Genesis, Dragon dictation software, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and timeliness, complying with MTF, DoD, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Patient encounter notes closed in MHS Genesis within 3 business days.
• Respond to secure portal messages within 1 business day.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a  CSWE-accredited program.
  • Note: Programs in candidacy status do not qualify until full accreditation is achieved.
  • Doctoral degree in Social Work may not substitute for the MSW.
• Certification:
  • Current  Basic Life Support (BLS)certification.
• Licensure:
  • Current, full, active, unrestricted license to practice as a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker , issued by the  Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) .
• Experience:
  • MSW-level clinical practicum  or at least 2 years post-MSW clinical experience within the past 3 years in a treatment/clinical setting.
