Title: Instrument Technician Company: CITGO Location: Lake Charles, LA. CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking to hire exceptional Instrument Technicians who can provide Maintenance field expertise that will support our ongoing Operations at the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex.
Responsibilities - Troubleshooting and performing proactive preventative maintenance on field instrumentation in an industrial environment.
- Troubleshooting and performing proactive preventative maintenance on PLCs, flow meters, transmitters, valve positioners and actuators, tank gauging systems, machinery protection systems, analyzers, and gas chromatographs.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation plus 1-year industrial experience as a journeyman level Instrument Technician, OR
- Associate degree in Instrumentation plus 3 years industrial experience as a journeyman level Instrument Technician, or
- 5 years industrial experience as a journeyman level Instrument Technician.
- Nicet Level One certification preferred.
- Supervisory and/or planning experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card).
- Must successfully complete assessments, background checks, and medical exams.
