Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a local, versatile, Digital Media Designer to support our existing design team and help scale our creative output and elevate the quality of our visual content. This role will focus on delivering high-impact designs for use in the digital space (web, advertising, digital displays, etc.) and other high-visibility formats. The right candidate will combine strong design fundamentals with a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and technologies, ensuring we stay on the cutting edge of digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Content Creation

• Produce a wide range of digital assets (ads, motion graphics, web visuals, promotional pieces) at scale.
• Leverage modern design tools such as the adobe creative suite as well as emerging features and technologies to streamline workflows and expand creative possibilities. (Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and similar Motion/3d design software is a must)
• Assist in expanding and scaling our current digital design output, and media capture. ensuring a consistent pipeline of on-brand deliverables.
• Adapt existing creative assets and deliverables for multiple formats, audiences and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.

Project & Workflow Support

• Assist with tasks such as asset organization, resizing, exporting, and preparing files for delivery to assist in reducing bottlenecks in the design workflow.
• Support areas where senior team members need additional bandwidth or where tasks fall outside their highest-value skill sets.
• Coordinate with the advertising team to ensure assets are optimized for campaigns.
• Maintain organized design systems and libraries for easy collaboration and reuse.

Innovation & Growth

• Identify opportunities for streamlining repetitive tasks (mockups, layout variations, template updates).
• Contribute fresh ideas for new placements, formats, or campaigns, especially where projection and digital displays can be expanded.

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio showcasing design work across multiple formats (digital, print, motion, or display).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, lightroom) and familiarity with adobes motion graphic / video design tools (After effects, Premiere Pro).
• Experience with additional platforms such as Figma or other collaborative design software.
• Awareness of new and emerging tools that can improve creative workflows and output.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear communication with a collaborative approach to working across teams.

Bonus Points:

1. Comfort with product photography, media capture, and on-site event support.
2. Experience with photo editing and retouching software (Lightroom, Photoshop).
3. Familiarity with 3D design or rendering tools (Blender, etc.).
4. Understanding of UX/UI principles and web design basics.
5. Experience designing within figma, shopify, and/or webflow
6. Understanding of back-end web support, and SEO implementation.
7. Experience with basic front-end coding (html, css, js, liquid)
8. Local to the Tri Cities area.
