Job Description

Open availability is a must. Must be able to close on weekend. Previous serving experience in a full service dinning is required 

  Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they enter/leave the building and sit/get up from their table
• Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.)
• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
• Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system
• Serves customers their food and check back on the guest to make sure meal came out correctly
• Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
• Maintain a clean and organized area (condiments, napkins, comment cards, etc.)
• Presents guest check to each table and accept approved form of payment
• Makes correct change or completes the proper charge card procedure
• Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
• Clean tables and floors as needed
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
• Other additional tasks management may need assistance with

Qualifications & Requirements

• Math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of times.
• Carry objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to wipe down tabletops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant.
