We are growing and looking for a talented  Landscape Designer/Architect to join our team and help continue our tradition of excellence.

Position Overview

The  Landscape Designer/Architect  will work directly with clients to create detailed, functional, and visually stunning outdoor living spaces. This person should have a strong understanding of design principles, landscape materials, and construction methods — as well as excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.

You will collaborate daily with your clients, our Landscape Director, Production Manager and installation teams to ensure designs are installed per spec and longevity.

Key Responsibilities

· Consult with clients regarding to their specific landscape requests

· Create conceptual and final designs using Dynascape, Vectoworks, or similar software to prepare design presentations, layouts and 3D renderings for client review.

· Develop accurate project estimates and assist with material selections in Service Autopilot.

· Collaborate closely with crews to ensure design intent is executed in the field.

· Maintain client communication from concept through completion.

· Reach sales goals of $800k+ in year one

· Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices.

· Network and represent Villa Landscapes at home shows, builder meetings, and design consultations.

Qualifications

· Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 5+ years of professional landscape design experience (residential preferred).

· Proficiency in Dynascape, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or similar design software.

· Strong plant knowledge and understanding of hardscape design/installation.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Creative mindset with attention to detail and constructability.

· Problem solving and forward thinking
