Scale House Operator for our facility in Savannah, GA recycling plant.
Salary: Starting at $18-$20/hr. based upon experience
Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri: 9AM - 5:00PM
Physical Location: 2495 Tremont Rd. Savannah, GA 31405
Our Team Georgia-Pacific Harmon Recycling is one of the largest pure traders of recycled fiber in the world, trading in excess of 100 thousand tons per week. What You Will Do - Ensuring that all employees maintain compliance to all company policies and procedures related to scale activities
- Actively pursuing and identifying new ways to reduce cost of operation and improve day to day activities
- Answering phone calls and assisting drivers, vendors, and suppliers or directing calls to the appropriate person
- Interfacing with truck drivers, vendors, and suppliers
- Keeping accurate transaction records on inbound and outbound shipments
- Preparing and sending required export documentation and CCIC (China Certification Inspection Company) photos in a timely manner
- Planning daily shipments for 4-7 dedicated on-site drivers
Basic Qualifications: - Prior experience with scale operations.
- Prior experience in logistics.
