Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Project Manager for our client in Wilmette, IL to oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from bidding to completion. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, schedules, and communication between clients, trade partners, and our internal team to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and bid comparisons.
• Create and manage project schedules, coordinating all trades and materials.
• Serve as the main client contact, providing regular progress updates.
• Review plans and drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Conduct site visits, monitor quality, and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain project data and documentation in BuilderTrend (or similar software).
• Track budgets, allowances, and invoices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction (required).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and terminology.
• Proficiency with BuilderTrend, Excel, and digital project management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
