Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols and physician instructions.
Position patients properly to ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Verify patient identification, review medical history, and gather clinical information relevant to imaging.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and self.
Accurately document and maintain patient records in RIS/PACS systems.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and referring providers.
Collaborate with radiologists to support timely interpretation and reporting of results.
Assist with administrative tasks during downtime (scheduling, filing, report preparation, or other office support duties as needed).
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (or eligibility with intent to obtain certification within a defined timeframe).
Current Michigan state licensure as required by law.
Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology with strong CT and X-ray proficiency.
Solid knowledge of radiation safety standards, equipment operation, and quality assurance practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach.
Additional certifications in modalities such as MRI, Mammography, or Ultrasound.
Experience in an independent radiology practice or outpatient imaging setting.
Proficiency with RIS/PACS systems and digital imaging workflows.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and high-quality patient care.
