Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, from initial planning through project close-out. This role requires effective leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of assigned commercial construction projects from start to finish.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project workflows.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
* Conduct regular site visits to ensure project milestones, quality, and safety standards are upheld.
* Oversee procurement processes, including contract negotiation and vendor management.
* Provide regular project updates and communicate progress to clients and stakeholders.
* Lead project meetings, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, ideally with both ground-up and renovation projects.
* Proven track record of managing projects valued between $1 million and $25 million.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
* Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
