Salary: $140,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience in solution architecture, data architecture, or technical product roles within SaaS.
• Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced startup atmosphere, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and a proactive approach to utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Strong propensity for urgency and a decisive bias toward action, with a track record of driving issues to successful resolution.
• Flexibility to operate beyond standard working hours when necessary to achieve goals.
• Preference for impact-driven outcomes over rigid processes, while valuing ownership beyond narrowly defined roles.
• Interest in building and expanding systems rather than merely maintaining them.
• Preferred but not mandatory: 5–8+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance technology, or related fields.
• Solid comprehension of benefits products, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other benefits.
• Required for non-domain backgrounds: willingness to learn the employee benefits landscape and complete a benefits broker certification within 6–9 months of employment.
• Strong communication abilities for clear interaction with both technical and non-technical individuals.
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and internal teams.
• Expertise in systems thinking and designing scalable solutions.
• Proficient in MySQL, particularly with intricate queries and view creation.
• Well-versed in data modeling, schema design, and structured data systems.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools for heightened productivity.
• Experience with JSON, XML, APIs, and AWS architecture, including security and compliance aspects.

• Design comprehensive solutions covering the Quote-to-Cash cycle, including plan ingestion and AI document extraction.
• Formulate rating and underwriting logic, quoting workflows, enrollment mapping, and billing structures.
• Transform client requirements into scalable AEZ configurations employing schemas, templates, and workflow rules.
• Lead technical discussions with insurance carriers, general agencies, and broker agencies on system integrations.
• Oversee the evolution of AEZs AWS architecture and infrastructure best practices.
• Collaborate with external security firms for SOC 2 compliance and manage compliance tooling.
• Guarantee security, scalability, and compliance are integrated into all solution designs.
• Manage the platform data model and its evolution, ensuring alignment with overall workflows.
• Support Customer Success by providing technical guidance during customer implementations.
• Conduct technical workshops and create frameworks to streamline onboarding processes.
• Identify and document patterns in customer needs to contribute to the product roadmap.
• Participate in select discovery and pre-sales meetings to provide insights on architecture and feasibility.
