Responsibilities:
- Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Processing and accessioning specimens.
- Performing EKGs.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients.
- Assisting with patient registration.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (inferred).
- Current certification as a Phlebotomist (inferred).
- EKG technician certification or demonstrated competency (inferred).
- 3-6 months of experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen processing preferred.
- Current BLS certification (inferred).
- Flu vaccination required (by specified date).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems (inferred).
Special Considerations:
- Local candidates only.
- Cannot have worked for any specified facility within the past year.
- Full-time position, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
