Position: NEMT Driver- Stretcher Van

About the Role H&M; Transport is seeking compassionate, safety-focused Stretcher Van Drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. You’ll safely transport patients to and from their homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges—making a positive impact every day. You’ll operate a company-provided vehicle with advanced safety technology and work on a flexible schedule that includes rotating weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do
• Safely transport patients via stretcher or wheelchair with assistance from a partner
• Pick up clients from homes, facilities, or hospitals and help them board safely
• Transfer patients from beds to stretchers following company protocols
• Secure passengers with a 5-point harness and lock stretchers in place
• Escort patients to their appointments and ensure proper handoff to facility staff
• Maintain a clean vehicle inside and out
• Follow all safety and operating policies
• Communicate efficiently with dispatch and team members • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: Hourly pay starting at $18.00 - $19.50/hour; annual earnings $50,000–$70,000+; consistent overtime, bonuses, and tip opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move patients up to 250 lbs (with partner assistance)
• Reliable, patient, and calm under pressure
• Comfortable driving long distances and in all weather
• Flexible for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Must pass background check, MVR review, and drug screening
