S&P Global Inc. seeks a Model Review Analyst who will conduct analysis on models that identifies risk within the existing modeling environment. Mitigate identified risk through scalable and enforceable remediation plans. Apply advanced statistical knowledge and programming skills to identify areas of key risk within model ecosystem. Link known risks to existing Environmental Resources Management (ERM) taxonomy for more informed decisions at the divisional level. Communicate review findings and remediation plans with senior leadership, and escalating where needed. Coordinate across various teams, including IT, modeling, and analytics, to support timely and effective implementation of remediation plans. Support the build out of model governance principles that fosters a more robust modeling environment. Collaborate with colleagues within different divisions to integrate and centralize all modeling activity within division. Develop a firm understanding of energy markets through analytical deep dives and leveraging existing expertise across various Commodity Insights teams to foster "effective challenge" of models. - Clearly and succinctly summarize key thoughts and points in both written and spoken form. Present findings to senior leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related IT or quantitative field, plus two (2) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Test Engineer, Data Analyst, or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Working with statistics, mathematics, econometrics, and programming, including with Python, Matlab, SQL, and C++; Working with model risk and other regulatory standards, such as the Federal Reserve Board's SR11-7, or other relevant standards; Utilizing automation testing tools including C# and RestSharp; Utilizing SQL for database testing.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,268
to $170,400
. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
