We are seeking an experienced Locums Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide 24-hour newborn call coverage at a hospital in Marion, NC. This role is ideal for a provider with a strong background in neonatal care who is comfortable with both in-person rounds and on-call responsibilities.

November 26 – November 30
December 23 – December 27
Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Setting: Inpatient hospital, newborn call coverage
Practice EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour newborn call coverage
Respond to the facility when requested by the OB provider
Attend all deliveries and perform newborn resuscitation as needed
Perform rounds and consults on newborn patients
Manage patient care and document accurately in EMR
Perform circumcisions and other necessary neonatal procedures
Collaborate with OB providers, pediatricians, and hospital staff to ensure quality care
Requirements:
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Active North Carolina License
Active NC DEA License
NRP and PALS certifications required
Experience with:
Circumcisions
Newborn resuscitation
Previous inpatient neonatal experience required
