**Hiring Linen Technician ASAP!!** **Day Shift- 10am - 6pm** **$16/Hr** **Winston-Salem, NC** **Weekly Pay - full benefits!** **Job Description** + We are seeking a dedicated Linen Technician to join our team. + This role involves pushing carts of soiled linens from patient rooms throughout the hospital. + The position is physically demanding, requiring long-distance walking, up to 3-4 miles a day, while maneuvering carts. + Experience in linen tech, stocking, or loading/unloading is highly beneficial. **Responsibilities** + Push carts of soiled linens from patient rooms throughout the hospital. + Comfortably handle dirty/soiled linens. + Walk 3-4 miles a day around the hospital while pushing carts. + Utilize basic math counting skills and shipping and receiving knowledge. + Operate RF scanners and perform cycle counts. **Essential Skills** + Experience in janitorial, cleaning, environmental service, or custodial roles. + Basic math counting skills. + Experience with RF scanners. + Ability to walk long distances and push carts weighing up to 100 pounds. **Why Work Here?** + Join a supportive work environment where 80% of medical, dental, and vision benefits are covered. + Full-time employees are eligible for benefits from the first day following their first full month of work. + Accumulate 4 hours of PTO per week, totaling 208 hours per year, with rollover options. + Enjoy double time pay for scheduled holiday work. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
