Job Description

Salary: $66,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory before the start date.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably STEM) along with a minimum of 2 years of experience is typically required; alternatively, a candidate with at least 6 years of relevant experience may also be considered in the absence of a degree.
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server Environments, including directory services management and system hardening, is essential.
• Proficient in maintaining a medium-sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
• Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to achieve the required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent and an Operating System Certification) within 6 months of their hiring date.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a team member in a dynamic technological environment.
• Assist in developing and implementing new technologies based on industry best practices.
• Employ troubleshooting skills to resolve moderate complexity technical issues, including integration of High-Performance Computing hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Utilize software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, and perform system-level troubleshooting to support the engineering community.
• Execute operating system tuning to enhance system performance on high-performance computing systems.
• Work cross-functionally within DT to standardize processes and procedures.
• Partner with Cybersecurity professionals to adhere to security compliance requirements.
• Provide documentation and training related to advanced High Performance Computing processes and procedures.
• Mentor junior team members.
