MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF Estimating in the Insurance Restoration or General Contracting Industry. 

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Estimator for a Restoration company in Irvine, CA. 

Schedule:   Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm

Requirements of the Water Damage Reconstruction Project Manager:

• 3+ years experience  estimating in the insurance restoration or general contracting industry.
• Proficiency with  Xactimate (Level II or higher preferred).
• Understanding of property damage restoration processes (water mitigation, demo, mold, reconstruction).
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction sequencing, and trade pricing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management under multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with XactAnalysis, Encircle, MICA, or other restoration documentation systems is a plus.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Bonus Potential:  Bonus Potential: $15,000 – $40,000 annually

Responsibilities o f the Estimator :

• Create detailed and accurate  Xactimate estimates for water, fire, mold, and reconstruction projects.
• Perform on-site inspections to document damage and gather all relevant data for estimating.
• Write comprehensive scope notes and line-item details consistent with insurance carrier standards.
• Communicate with adjusters, property owners, and internal teams to finalize approved scopes.
• Manage supplements and change orders promptly and professionally.
• Review vendor/subcontractor bids and integrate them into job costing.
• Maintain consistent profit margins in accordance with company targets.
• Upload all documentation to XactAnalysis or carrier portals as required.
• Support project managers by providing clear scope details, budgets, and material allowances.
• Stay current on carrier estimating guidelines, pricing updates, and Xactimate revisions.
