Job Description

A growing and innovative company in Claremore, OK is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join their team. In this role, you’ll transform engineering sketches and notes into precise technical drawings used in production, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

This is a full-time, in-office position offering a structured weekly schedule, early Friday dismissal when work is completed, and the opportunity to work on a variety of technical projects within a supportive team environment.

Pay Range: $28–$32/hour (+Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (early out on Fridays when weekly work is completed)


Key Responsibilities:  
The CAD Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings—including dimensions, fastening methods, and other essential engineering details—using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The role plays a key part in translating technical concepts into clear, accurate, and actionable production plans.

• Create and revise detailed CAD drawings using AutoCad and Solidworks.
• Translate engineering sketches and specifications into complete design documents.
• Calculate dimensions, weights, capacities, and other technical data using mathematical formulas.
• Ensure all project folders and design documentation are current and organized.
• Issue final production drawings, job packets, and CNC data to relevant departments.
• Follow standard drafting policies and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and documentation teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with 3D modeling.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of drafting experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, OR drafting certification with at least 1 year of practical experience.
