Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require you to be willing to maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph. A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or a comparable field is necessary. You should have over two years of experience in a professional setting. Familiarity with IT systems, particularly Linux and Windows, is also essential. If you do not already hold a Security+ certification, you must be willing to obtain it within six months of your start date. Additionally, experience in handling sensitive information, such as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified data, or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is required. You should possess strong time management skills, be capable of making sound decisions, taking independent actions, analyzing problems, and providing focused solutions. An active US security clearance is also a prerequisite.
Responsibilities:
  • In this role, your primary responsibilities will include utilizing tools such as Splunk, QRadar, and/or Graylog to audit our information systems for security compliance and integrity. You will employ Nessus to identify vulnerabilities across various systems (Linux, Windows, Cisco) and collaborate with the System Administrator to remediate the identified issues. Your role will also involve researching open vulnerabilities and assessing risks to the organization, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. You will interface with government representatives to ensure compliance and address security concerns. Performing basic patching on isolated information systems to maintain security and functionality is also expected. You will assist in conducting assured file transfers for program personnel, ensuring the secure transmission of sensitive data, and aid the Information System Security Manager in maintaining and creating all authorization and assessment documentation. Furthermore, you will handle visit requests and foreign travel in DISS and investigation requests in NBIS, as well as administer the security education, training, and awareness programs for assigned employees. You will coordinate with local guard response companies and be on-call to respond to facility intrusion alarm activations, as well as assist with maintaining the security accreditations necessary for operational requirements. Additionally, you will provide overall administration and oversight of classified activities, develop policy, and conduct self-inspections while providing prime/subcontractor security support and direction. This includes developing and revising security plans, procedures, and educational materials, along with offering classification guidance and incident investigations.
