Description We are looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team in Milford, Massachusetts. This role is essential for managing product costing, analyzing financial processes, and providing critical insights to support global operations. The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and deliver impactful results. For Immediate Interview please contact Victor Muller at 508 205 2136 Responsibilities: - Coordinate and support the annual cost roll project for Global Operations Finance. - Manage product costing and oversee the configuration of modules related to overhead cost controlling and material management. - Build and maintain strong relationships with departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT to ensure seamless collaboration. - Analyze and summarize bill-of-materials, routing, and cost roll impacts to deliver actionable insights. - Play a key role in the implementation of S4 Hana modules, focusing on cost and overhead controlling as well as profitability analysis. - Define and implement best practices and workflows for maintaining material master data. - Evaluate current financial reporting processes and recommend both short-term and long-term improvements. - Provide detailed financial analyses to support various projects within Global Operations. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for work instructions and processes. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Engineering. - Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting information systems or engineering document control, with at least 2 years in a global manufacturing environment. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis skills. - Familiarity with systems such as Power BI, Databricks, Business Warehouse (BW), and Analysis for Office is highly preferred. - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. - Strong financial analysis and communication abilities, coupled with an aptitude for problem-solving. - Demonstrated capability to drive continuous improvement and collaborate with functional leaders. - Ability to interpret complex configuration and financial data into actionable business insights.
