Verition’s Summer Internship Program – Equity Long Short (Miami).

Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.

As part of our 10-week internship program, you’ll work closely with an investment team to enhance your skill set and apply your studies to a wide variety of projects. Our program provides ample opportunities to learn about alternative investments, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing firm.

You will be joining an Equity Long Short team focused on Healthcare based in Miami. The ideal candidate will have completed scientific coursework and finance/business training.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.
• Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and collaborative individuals.

Salary for this role ranges from $65-$75 per hour.
